As educators, we know our public schools are the heart of our Missouri communities. We see every day how important it is that our students are supported and how much our communities lose when they’re not.
That’s why I’m reaching out with one simple message: Just say NO to Amendments 4 and 5 in the August 4th election.
Amendment 5 could bankrupt our public schools by diverting even more public dollars away from classrooms while raising taxes on things we buy every day — and Amendment 4 would make it much harder for Missourians to do anything about it.
The challenge is that many voters still haven’t heard about what’s at stake with these amendments. We have a chance to change that before primary election day arrives on August 4th
